Bellamy Young
Young began her acting career in theatre. While playing Mary in The Life's original line-up, Young gave her Broadway premiere as Mary in the musical on Broadway in 1997. The actress has performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's music production Merrily we Roll Along (1994) along with the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). [3][10] In 1995, she made her TV debut on a recurring character on"the" NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared in the show Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two characters. In 1999, she made her film debut in a tiny part on the crime drama Black and White and later co-starred in several independent films. The actress began guest-starring on TV comedies and dramas as early as the 2000s. They comprised The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young was a part of more than thirty TV shows from 2000 and 2011. Young was a regular cast member in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. Peacemakers was pulled after one season of nine episodes. There were recurring characters in the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami from 2005-2006, and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the eldest son-in-law in the Darling Family. In 2011, she had an uncredited guest appearance on Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
