Kellie pickler

Kellie Pickler is among "American Idol's" most successful graduates even if she wasn't able to win the award. She was born Kellie Dawn Pickler, on the 28th of June 1986, at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle to Cynthia Morton and Clyde Raymond Pickler. The couple had the mother of 16 years. This was an extremely difficult time for Pickler since her father was struggling in addiction with alcohol and drugs and her mother had to leave her at the age of two. Morton came back to take charge for a few months, but Pickler acknowledged that it was not all well. "I remember my mother and I were at the kitchen table and I said'I'd love God could take me away and I'd rather die than be here alongside you.' The girl pulled the kitchen knife out and placed it in the middle of the counter. She then said: "Here you go." It was fourth grade. I was in fourth grade "Of obviously, I could not had done anything to change the incident. But it has been a long time since I've had emotional bruises." Pickler aged at the age of 12 was given her grandparents' custody following the court hearing. Pickler mentions her grandparents as the main sources of inspiration throughout her whole life was a child of the grandparents. On January 1, 2002, her grandmother Faye Pickler passed away from lung cancer. Pickler was raised by her grandfather. Pickler was a graduate of The North Stanly High school situated in New London, North Carolina.
