Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was once a supermodel is a film director. Rene Marie Russo, born in the United States, is an actor, director and former supermodel. She is known for her elegant beauty. Her longevity in an extremely competitive field is a testament to her talents and abilities as an actor. In the 70s when she started her modeling career, and soon was one of the most prominent names in this field. At the beginning of the next decade she studied the arts and performed prior to appearing on stage at Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Russo first appeared on television on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. In her debut film Major League two years after, she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Some critics initially doubted her talent as an actor, but her consistent performance won them over. They especially loved her in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak in which she held her own in the face as Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that she's not passionate about acting. She decided in 2005 to take a long, self-imposed break. Then, she made her return in Thor. Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female athletes. She started her career as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Namajunas has racked up a lot of attention following her joining of the UFC thanks to her outside and inside the octagon's success. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose participated in sports such as basketball and kickboxing while growing to be a teenager. Invicta Fighting Championships is her first fight in professional. She was just 18 and was a winner of two fights by submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her signed to UFC's strawweight category in December 2014 when Rose was barely 22. Rose has been through extremes and lows throughout her career. She has always come out the winner. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. Rose won the bout via technical knockout in just 3 minutes in the initial round. It was the first ever female to fight in a title fight with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this fight and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
